Handprint Quilt

My son is in Kindergarten this year. I decided to make a handprint for his teacher for christmas. I finished it up this morning and brought it in to school for the kids to stamp their handprints.

I used fabric paints and a fabric marker for their names. I love the way it came out and hope the teacher likes it!

Accuquilt Go!

I got my new Accuquilt Go! today! I was so excited to see the UPS man show up with my new toy!! I had received all my dies last week so it was extremely hard to have to wait for the cutter to show up.

I started cutting right away and have already finished my first quilt top. I used the tumbler die and moda's Clementine fabric. I absolutely love the way it turned out! Tomorrow I will get the backing made and load it on the quilt frame for quilting.

To anyone who has been thinking of making the purchase of the Accuquilt, you will not regret it!

Pastel Baby girl quilt finished

I just finished quilting this beautiful baby quilt. The pattern is from the Moda Bake shop. I used a Moda Swanky honey bun and Robert Kaufman Kona cotton for the border.

I love the way this one came out and think it is my favorite so far! I still need to choose a name for it and put my label on for it to be officially completed :-)
